About AspectRatio
AspectRatio is a small, free reference-and-calculator site for people who make images and video: creators sizing thumbnails, designers exporting social graphics, photographers ordering prints.
It exists because the arithmetic is trivial but the traps are real. Screens sold as one ratio turn out to be another (1366×768 is 683:384, ultrawides sold as 21:9 are 64:27 or 43:18), platform slots have odd native sizes (1080×566 is 540:283), and print paper crops camera photos by amounts nobody warns you about. This site shows the simplified, honest numbers everywhere — including on the 21:9 page, where the marketing name and the maths disagree.
Everything runs in your browser. There are no accounts, no uploads and no server-side processing; the image checker measures files on your own device. The site is built and maintained by ORBITFRAME, an independent front-end studio.
Corrections
Platform sizes and panel line-ups change. If a figure here looks out of date, it is a mistake to fix, not a position to defend — the charts state the values believed current at the time of writing and remind you to check the platform's own pages for anything critical.
